Well for the very new moms like yourself, I would like to say that you are in the new ascension energies which are unlike anything before the year 2014.

Her template for existence as a physical human is far more evolved than ours were. This new age will have far more understanding and receptive to her areas of interest than we experienced.

It would be a nice idea to build the community you seek to find, as I see these things. The actual best authority on every subject for yourself and your child will be you and your child. Sharing those experiences with others would indeed be very helpful.

I myself do study the latest spiritual information on human evolution as it represents itself in the children of today. You may or may not be inclined in that direction. In my view, you will always be divinely guided through instincts and intuition and not so much by the experiences of others like yourself.

hi. i believe i have an indigo son and a crystal daughter. i am indigo. indigos kids are not an easy ride … so many emotions, the thin skin. he literally resonates with any of my moods. not easy, but beautiful. a lot of work guiding. indigos do not have it easy in early life. this world looks so ugly to his green blue eyes. ahhhrgh….

Apparently I was like that when I was young and I'm an Indigo. So your daughter could be next generation/wave of Indigos. I'm not a parent though so I don't have any tips.

I care deeply for children, it is a passion of mine. I have two teenage children who are wonderful. My daughter is extremely sensitive and sees the intricate details of life, she knows of spirit and is psychic. My son is very gifted scientifically.

They both have specialisms and are both very different, so I have recognised their individuality by taking (and sharing with them) the view that everyone has their individual talents in life as well as individual challenges that we find more difficult.

Nurturing an individual person can't be done if we parent according to a label or categorisation of the child, because nurture is to learn and adjust our own responses in each moment to that individual.

A child needs to know that they are loved and protected by their parent, not taught that they are a special type of human being. I hope you will find the will to parent your individual child, not 'an indigo/crystal/starseed' etc. Identity is something that children need to develop for themselves in my opinion.

I struggled with tantrums with my son, but then was taught the 1, 2, 3, time out method. It is an easy thing for the child to grasp and gives the security of known boundaries. So I would give the instruction, then count , and repeat the instruction calmly, 2 repeat the instruction calmly, 3 and remind him that he could do this or sit on the stair for one minute - then tell him to stay on the stair for one minute (and ignore him for that time). Then sometime afterwards, when he was calm, I would have a conversation about how anger is understandable, but it isn't ok to break your sisters toy (or whatever)... and show him a different way to respond to his feelings.

The other thing I always did when I wasn't sure on parenting was to ask people, as you have done here. So I respect that, but just worry so much about the children who will be told they are this sort of child or that sort of child and never be able to be themselves.

My two grandchildren (14 & 11) are Indigo and pretty much have been self directed with no significant social problems. They simply avoid association with non productive relationships. They understand they have nothing in common and the majority of humanity is resistant to insightful change and are an impediment to their goals. Both are extraordinary scholars aiming for degrees in higher physics. Philosophically they quickly discovered the hoax of religions and have Pagan inclinations speaking about feeling an entanglement with an all pervading cosmic presence or Spirit. Their biggest social problem is dealing with an intellectual void in their peers and associates and parents of friends attempting to push religion.
