I can get very mood swings at times and I really think it's from more than hormones.

The moon does affect me often, yes. Not that I get moodswings. It affects my general energy, sometimes for a couple of days.
Not always bad, often it is wonderful, like a warm fuzzy blanket, or uplifting. It depends on the moon. It can also feel like moving through sludge for days on end.
I also often feel the shift after the full moon, especially if it was a very good full moon. THe energies dip tremendously after it was full and then it often feels heavier after days of feeling light and great. Then I miss the energy.

I am a fairly decent mood swinger. My moon is in cancer though.

My moon is in Taurus and I definitely feel the effect of the moon on my mood. I do get very bad mood swings but it could also be because I'm a Gemini!

Happens to me too ... Sometimes I notice that I am feeling irritable and then I realise it's because it's a full moon..

This is valid, but it is useful to understand the subtle influences which affect us in our daily lives. We can deal more effectively with these influences if we are aware of them.
