the soul is not attached to a body, so it does not differentiate between them. a soul can reincarnate as an animal or human and so on. there are no special dog souls. also, the dog you love is only an ego, so while his soul will be reborn again, the ego you know and love it as will surely cease to exist.

Reincarnation is an eastern tradition that is most commonly associated with india/buddhism, but is common across asia.

The long and the short of it is, as huans we create, or get rid of karma, if we dont learn, and pay back our karmadic debts, we will "regress" into a "lower form of life" untill the lession is learned.

I believe so yes, all of my cats seem to have their own personalities, and they can look right into your soul.....they know things or sense things before we can a lot of times......I believe all animals have souls.......

Yes, animals have souls as we do and are on their own evolutionary path.

Through positive and loving association with humans animals acquire individualisation which they retain after death. So yes, you will meet your dogs on the Other Side.
(There are numerous NDEs recording meeting 'dead' pets.)

I agree with you, Sandalwood. And, I have to admit--I have an ulterior motive. I had an experience one night where I had a night where I was...Idk, a freer form of myself. Afterward, when I woke, I had a strong smell of sandalwood.

I wasn't a fan of sandalwood and didn't know what to think of it.

One friend has told me that certain archangels are associated with the sandalwood scent.

May I ask why you named yourself this? I thought it might yield some clues for me.

Lora

I have no doubt that animals reincarnate. Sandalwood paste is used in worship in India.

Life is progressive. A human soul cannot 'devolve' back into the animal sphere. But an animal soul can and ultimately will evolve into the human sphere.

Have a look at 'Meeting Katie in 'The Sanctuary' section. I think you'll like it.
