Darkness and white rope

Hi!

I have been real impressed by how dreams are interpreted on this forum so I figure I could ask for a little help to understand mine better?

OK. Here we go: What I remember from the dream is that I have a white, strong rope around my waist and someone is pulling me in a direction but not to the extent that I have to run to keep up the pace. I can't see who is holding the rope at the other end. I am in some dark forest or jungle and get dark leaves and what have you to get in my way, my face and so on. After I don't know how long of this there is wet dirt near a lake or sea where my feet end up and the white rope (still don't know who is holding it) is coming from deep into the lake/sea. I get pulled down because of the rope and wake up while I am in the dark lake/sea and can hardly see.

There was one moment as I was walking in the woods/jungle where I "felt", "remembered" a feeling of wanting to find someone as if I thought he was the one holding the rope, that he was in trouble, or wanting to lead me out of trouble, but this feeling lasted very short time.

Anyways, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have after this dream thought if the scenes come from a movie, but I can't then figure out what movie it would be from?

Thank you, Invalan. Interesting...it is always a sure way to wake me up by bring me into water (as I have had fear of dark waters all my life especially after a meditation regression gone bad, without protection, where I experience seeing a dead female body in dark waters)
