Being burdened with too much responsibility.

Contrary to what many people think about me my problem is not that I fail to accept responsibility for myself and my problems. It is more that I accept too much responsibility. I feel the weight of the worlds problems upon my shoulders.

I fear the I AM theory because it threatens (in my mind) to add to the weight of responsibility upon me. Obviously that is not the point of teaching I AM. But I somehow need to decrease the pressure I am under while accepting that I AM God.

Isn't God burdened with responsibility?

Hello Honza.

Would it help to consider the possibility that loving does what loving does because it longs to, not because it feels it ought to?

Good wishes. pete

Why do you feel you are carrying the worlds problems on your shoulders Honza?
Mybe if you trace back to why/when/how this feeling began you might be able to see a way out, thinking like that is futile. You are NOT responsible for the problems in the world, you are responsible for yourself....

No I don't believe God is burdened with any responsibility at all, how can he/she/it be burdened ?

I have tons of responsibility from someone's view...but I give my burdens to God...
I tried it for 2 weeks and it worked so well...I have kept it up for a decade.
and the Christ within me strengthens me...
can't tell ya how many things "I" do not want to do...
but, I do anyway and nothing was so bad after all!

That was discussed several times in your last thread.

Control of thinking.

It's a spiritual self-development technique. Research and begin.

Well I hate to sound cliche, but a good diet and regular exercise can really help decrease pressure/stress. I could tell you to let it all go, but that wouldn't do much good since I don't think you're at the stage where letting it all go would be a good option.
