It is incredibly intimate because to surrender means to give everything you are to God. It's done out of love and complete trust. Surrender is worship however worship is not surrender.

Generally speaking, most people do not remember God and that is all God really wants from us. There are no physical acts required or external shows. It is purely a spiritual state of mind where a person thinks about God. Then if we are remembering God and looking at the creation God created for us, a person will generally be thankful and praise God because we see it is all part of Gods devine nature. And if a person is truly thankful they often can surrender to God.

we might be experiencing a semantics problem. i've stated my opinion on the distinction between "worship" and "surrender". make of it what you will but it was not my intention to cast aspersions your religous practices.

semantics it could be, started a new post seeking the answer; what is the difference between worship and surrender?

But for this post, imo there is God and there is humanity.

My apologies
I was not cussing at anyone in particular. I have a temper at times and try to control most of the time. That is my negative side I freely admit it is my weakness. I just don't like when people try to justify whose religion or beliefs are better. I dealt with a lot of judgment and prejudice not only for my ethnic back round but for my spirituality from different people including my family. I just get heated and if I offended people then I will try to be more tactful. Perhaps the whole conversation from beginning till my first posting was misunderstood by me. I have no problem admitting I am wrong. So cheer up look at it on the bright side it was a lesson well learned by me.
