-A True Christmas Story From The Mind's Eye-

About 11 years ago, I lay sleeping in bed on Christmas Eve night. It had been a bit of a stressful year, but I was determined to make the holiday pleasant.

I awoke at one point in the night and realized that I was a bit chilly and had kicked the covers off onto the floor. And just at that moment, the blankets came out of nowhere and covered me up... I sprang up into a sitting position to see who had covered me up... and there at the foot of the bed was a shimmering blue sphere of light, and in the center of the light was a face that looked like father Christmas.

I just stared at this sight for about 20 seconds, and than it faded away.

Was it an angel or some spiritual manifestation of what Father Christmas is supposed to be about? What do you think?

Wow ! That was awesome Mind's Eye ! My guess would be the spiritual manifestation of Father Christmas. Bringing you peace ~ and keeping you warm with the blankets.

It was a sight I will never forget.... The year after that I did what I called the Saint Nick ecperiment. I put out some food, money, blankets, things less fortunate people would need. I left a note and said a prayer that if the Spirit of Saint Nick was real, that he would take my offerings and deliver them to someone who might need them.

The idea here was gift giving and leaving Santa milk and cookies on Xmas Eve night kind of thing.... Sure it was a bit silly, but fun none the less.

However, none of the items were gone the next morning...... Can't blame a guy for trying.

That was a great little story......if the thing that covered you up was concerned about you waking up cold, it would've covered you before you woke up. Obviously, it wanted you to witness his existence!

I think if I had seen your vision, I would lay there in awe for quite awhile. I can believe it is something you will always remember, very special indeed !

Interesting St. Nick experiment, but from what I have heard, it takes quite a bit of spirit energy to move items, such as a penny or something small. And you had a whole shopping cart full of items ! Very nice and thoughtful idea though

He's Sain't Nick... I figured he could handle it.. lol

And he was whipping my mound of covers around pretty good.
