im careful what songs i listen to nowadays.. i remember nsync's song '(god must have spent) a little more time on you' suddenly came to my attention.. i thought..what a lovely and inspiring song..went on youtube, searched for the song with lyrics..listened and sang along to the chorus.. 'your love is like a river, peaceful and deep, your soul is like a secret, that i never could keep'!?!?.. stop..just stop.
the soul is not a possession that could be transferred or 'handed over'.. nice try though lol..
ive been listening to merlins magic album healing harmony a lot lately.. one of my favorite track is 'chant of eternity'.

Hahaha! Yeah, those cheesy 90s boy band songs and their lyrics trying to be sappy/sweet then when you listen to them again with a different perspective you can see how incredibly possessive and desperately co-dependent the lyrics really are...
I could go on a rant on how this is one of various ways I believe the media instills the wrong ideas in young people's minds about love... |

yeah.. sinister, to say the least.. i wonder if the lead singer from RHCP experienced similar 'awakenings' as did other lightworkers as they appear to indicate in a few of their songs.. the lead singer sounded like a typical new age love and light pleiadian starseed type of dude in the song 'dont stop'. then verses in the song 'soul to squeeze', his tone is far different.. like hes been tricked or set up by so called loving angelic beings who he must have communicated with.. |
