Dating

I met someone 2 weeks ago at a movie event. We got into talking and she offered me a ride home, exchanged numbers then agreed to meet up for another movie 3 days after. So technically, that was our 1st date and it was a bad movie (which I paid for) and ended up just going home separately after the movie. 3 days after she messages and asked me to go out for another movie with a group and brought me as her plus one. We had a good time watching this time around together with others. When it was time to go home, she asked me out for drinks on Friday night. Friday came and instead of drinks, she proceeded to make reservations at a restaurant which was really sweet and we had "the talk" which consisted of family, relationships, jobs and questions like what we're both looking for in a partner and if we wanted kids etc (sortof like a job interview). She paid for dinner this time (so technically, our 2nd date). Then she mentioned about doing something together next Friday, going out to a nearby town and staying there overnight. I am presently working on weekends so have to be back by Saturday afternoon. She also mentioned that we should go out on Friday's on a regular basis until I'm done working on weekends then we could also go out on weekends after. We haven't kissed yet or done anything intimate.

Haven't been out on the dating scene for quite some time, so my question is, is this the normal pace these days? So our 3rd date this Friday would be an overnight stay to a town she wants to explore but it's an overnight thing. Not sure if we'll be in separate rooms, one room with two beds etc. Is it appropriate to ask?

Thanks!

I'm not sure about the normal pace thing or not... but I do know it's entirely appropriate for you to ask about the sleeping arrangements. I feel it would be a good plan to have separate rooms (especially as you don't really know how things might go and having your own space may be important if things go awry)... but that doesn't mean you have to stick to plan if the mood hits ya.

It's okay, thanks. She just messaged to ask how I am and her message went some thing like this, "Good morning my new friend" ... there you have it, just got friendzoned!
