Astal Movie INSIDIOUS (2010) ???

Hi

What do you think about this OBE movie INSIDIOUS (2010) . Many people referred me to this film as being the best about OBE but after watching it hey i think the guys who wrote the film are indeed against astral travelling, my thoughts what about you??

Like most hollywood **** it's over the top and totally focused on the negative.

Well, it's your typical religious Hollywood movie, that portrays evil, and negativity, and tells you this and that is wrong...

But if you ignore that truth, you can see the movie in a different light. Most will not like it, because of that message, however. I liked the franchise, I enjoyed the second one more. The third one is in the works. Which will be a prequel.

The people that make the movies are more interested in making money than the truth .

The horror genre is not a healthy medium to watch, but like innerlight said, we can find a few diamonds in the mud if we look hard enough. l don't know what's going on in hollywood, but horror flicks are everywhere - about 70% of films on the supermarket shelf are horrific.
And can anyone tell me why in nearly all adult [l don't mean porn lol] movies there is a sex scene about 5-10 minutes in. lf you don't believe me check it out - l suppose it's some kind of format they follow, but why?? - is it just catering to the general obsession with sex or is it something more insidious?

It's very annoying how practically the one and only film to mention astral projection (others have shown it but never mentioned it) does so in a manner that is going to scare people away from it. Fear is already going to be a big problem and hurdle for most beginners and that movie paints astral projection as some demonic portal that will only bring dark-beings into your life, it's sad in my opinion. It seems to me that someone has an agenda and wants to scare people away from astral projection.

Yes, as AE says, it certainly looks like a hollywood agenda to scare the ****e out of people, so they avoid anything to do with this subject. A lot of these supernatural horror films seem to be catholic-based - you know, the hell and damnation theme - the catholic church has a lot to answer for IMO.

There are a couple of other films that discuss AP.
A good one was 'stranger with my face' - about two twins who can AP. One of them actually buys some books on it.

There was another one where a psychiatric patient practices AP to visit someone to take revenge - never anything good lol.

That's why I called it an "religious hollywood" movie. As it's one of those movies, where these types of things are evil, or portals to demons, etc. Much like most of the movies that involve spirit, or any form of spirit communication. Look at the new movie out now, called Ouija.

And just about all these movies have the same underlying theme, about how the "good" religion, in the form of the religious exorcist is what saves the day.

I have not seen this movie but It's true that most movies combined violence an sex i don't know if thats what every one is really into but I think it desensitizes people expecially younger minds who end up thinking it's really cool to murder people and be the tough guy instead of themselfs.
