Trying to become the matriarch/patriarch
Is anyone else struggling with taking on the role of leader of their family? I think it's typically (but not always) the oldest person with the most wisdom, perhaps making the most money, whom everyone can turn to if they have a problem. I know I need to take on this role as my older relatives enter the final stage of their lives. Very large shoes to fill. Does anyone relate or feel the same way?
