Lovely stones! :)

You can get some interesting carved pieces of Malachite ~ there's a nice shop in Glastonbury which had lots!

Does that Obsidian sphere have a silver sheen? I'll have to did out my tumble which has been packed away for too long.

I've been thinking about saving up for a cabinet to store all of my stones. There's some nice bespoke ones made out of oak, with lots of drawers. Another idea is to get a few artist boxes with removable trays. Hmm...

Hi Martinet ! When you say drawers it makes me think you are putting the stones away. Why not get something in a glass display case where you can view them ? I always think it's a sin to have beautiful crystals locked away. Most of my crystals I think scream to be looked at, I have a few that certainly love attention.

Hi Crystal canuck! I keep the ones that I'm working with out on display, and then store the rest away. It would be nice to have them all on display, but I'm also thinking about how much space I have for units. I'd need lots of shelf space for my little collection :)

There are definitely many areas in my home that have gem displays, I love to have them in view. My husband and I are crazy collectors, we go to the gem show in the city every year and wish we were millionaires, and usually insanely break our budget. This shot was but a small snippet. We went to Mexico and all the obsidian there had me reeling!
When I work with something in particular I do a cleansing of it, then use. I have favorites that I typically use, of course.

Hehe...

... did they have any Obsidian mirrors? The last one I saw in a shop was a little too expensive for me.

Scrying mirrors?
I didn't see any, no. But probably in esoteric shops, that would be amazing...

I bought a pound of Rough Crystal Quartz. I am learning/working on making Crystal grids. I know it's nothing fancy, but i never owned genuine white natural quartz! I ordered a Clear quartz wand before, but I feel deeply it was a fake/glass. So I am very excited to work with these natural stones, they are definitely natural. You can tell with the dark peppery inclusions. Plus, they feel like rocks : D

thank you Clover the quartz you bought is quite lovely, I really like the quartzes. I hope your work is going well with your crystals.

My new purchase is a Herkimer Quartz, I'm very happy with it as it seems pretty powerful and I just think its cute lol

this first picture, the light created the yellow on it, it just looks pretty so I thought I'd post this one
