Confusion about first past life regression meditation

So I tried seeing into my past because my guide had told me it was time for me to do so. Instead of seeing a past life though I saw myself being asked by an angel named Gabriella to go be born as someone named Mitsuha. Why was I shown that instead of the actual life?

I'm not familiar with meditation regressions; I use self-hypnosis. So, I can't say if you really got an answer, or it was a fluke.

In any case, if I received your kind of answer, I'd probably think that I regressed into a "between lives" episode prior to an incarnation as Mitsuha, and I would pursue a progression through Mitsuha's life.

I usually follow the regression model used by Michael Newton, regressing firstly to my childhood, then into my mother womb, my last birth, then to a past life, progress through it until death, then into "life between lives" (which is a timeless plane).

I haven't encountered "angels" per se, but we might use different denominations for the same kind of entity.

Yeah I thought for sure it was an in between episode thing. I suppose I'll have to go and see more of Mitsuha's life to figure out the answer to my question.

As for going through my own childhood again that sounds like a complete nightmare so I'd rather avoid that but thank you for the advice.

I can do past life regression by myself. I see totally different things in regression, what my brains produces. Brains romantices everything before I see a total naked truth, and it is not always so nice things you will see in regression. You can see suffer, dying, raw living atmospheres and etc.

You have to be prepared and ready to understand, what you want to know from the past life. You have clearly traumas from the chilhdhood and you can't handle them. How can you handle it if you see more traumas? I have had my own traumas too. I handled them in meditation and I asked guides to teach me how to go through all of those bad things.Finally I was ready to release all the bad feelings. I accepted those things as part of my life story and then let them go. Then I was ready to know what I need to watch from the previous incarnation. After watching I healed again a lot when my body/mental suffers recovered.

I don't know anything about angel gabriella, but I understand you can ask arc angel Gabriel to help to situations when you have problems with raising kids, childhood problems or any kind of family things. I would suggest you to encounter your childhood traumas. If you keep your vision as proper, you can be a quite sure, your guides and angels are prepared you to face your things that way. You could observe Mitsuha's life as third person view and learn. You never know how the spirit world arranges things, just trust and enjoy the ride. That's how I see your situation

Gabriella? Is that archangel Gabriel's twin sister or something?
Putting that aside, I think it's wise to take everything with a grain of salt what other people or even entities tell you.

I just looked up "Mitsuha". It is as I suspected: this is a female Japanese name.

So maybe you had a past life in Japan.

I do not know about angels guiding you, from my own experience, while in trance or a different state of mind, you are getting a lot of stuff in a symbolic way, close to what you are getting in dreams... and you will get what ever is closest to your own, personal belief and what is closest to what your mind, while incarnated, still can "catch" or understand.

I think your Angel just Gave you a reference name to go look up online and learn about your past life from there, or maybe that was part of the process, that scene was probably you in life before life, getting ready to be born as the person an incarnation, and maybe you next meditation session will begin the showing of the pastlife,

I know that I am just a newbie on this site, so take it or leave it.

If you don't mind me asking, who is your guide? A living energy now?
Or a spiritual guidance?
I know someone else who became aware of her (a) 'before life' through a vision.
Depending on where your frequencies were; You were shown this because it is important to your past lives discovery. The messenger, the angel is just a messenger. Your focus is the name and the time period.

I am in tuned with certain frequencies so I could possibly help you given more information about your guide. I have stronger abilities in other areas, but I have seen several past lives in other through concentration and what I am suppose to receive.
