Holotropic Breathwork - to channel God

I've been practicing Holotropic Breathwork for a few months now and have been able to tap into a higher conciousness. It was something I stumbled upon in my journey. I believe I was guided to it. It usually takes 2 + hours of intense deep breathing to different areas of the body. The deeper I get the more "issues" I run into (past issues or negative thoughts that I need to resolve). Once I resolve the issue I release remission and my body and mind allow me to go deeper into the breathwork. It's a truly amazing event. I get deeper and deeper into a trance like state and I start thinking from a higher conciousness. Thoughts pour through me fast than I can "think". They come to me in the same way Neal Donald Walsh and Esther hicks get a channel. But, "channeling" is just a word that we made up. It's way more than that. It's an experience. An experience closer and closer to the "now". Closer to the present moment. The moment when feelings come first and thoughts come second. The moment you realize there is something Greater in charge. You realize we have a purpose and there's more to life than what we know. Words cannot express the feeling and I know many of you out there have felt this before but for those who haven't it can change your whole world.

I've done alternate nostril breath retention exercises before - Anuloma Viloma or Nadi Shodhan and it's the quickest way to activate the Third Eye Chakra (maybe I should be doing it again because my third eye needs spectacles atm).

I've also 'been there' and the experience was wonderful and mind-blowing, but carrying such an intense experience into daily life is a real chore for me and as a result I have kept my 'spiritual life' and my 'human life' separate...mistake #1.

I really don't like the term 'channeling' much either, because although I'm doing this, that's not what I am doing - if that makes any sense. The spirits refer to me as 'their vessel'. Most of the time, my thoughts come first and my feelings come second (if at all). What would Spock channel if he channelled? and that's about the size of it.

Bad things tend to happen when I let emotions into it, even love (if I can remember what it's like to even feel that).

It's like I realise what you are saying and I know it deep down, but it makes no difference to me one way or the other. I call it 'spiritual complacency' and it eats me up like a virus.

As for 'channeling God' - if that ever happened, I'd beg for a release from this life because I wouldn't be able to walk around with my head in the clouds without tripping over every obstacle my feet were exposed to.

...and if I said I was channeling God, who'd believe me? (although I've probably done it countless times already without even knowing it).
