many times did we fall
did we fall victims to the loss of a single word
fables of stories is all that we have left behind
remember the passion raging with pure fire and defiled gold
horrifed, yes we're lost delight has fallen far behind

the memories play their wicked magic as you lay on your bed
a bittersweet feeling of something tragic and dreams without end
the hair was black as the night's fall
the heart was inviting little men to stand tall

it was the words who decended on this rhythm
by seductive fading whispers to write my pen was allured
like a shadow they traspassed into this poem of mine
they were not planned nor written
by love's sparkling fireflies my sweet past rest assured
we both got overwhelmed and bitten

many times did we stray
did we stray and went lost around this massive world
in rememberance of it's wonders was a mesmorizing to behold
it was a mere solace a safe haven for all we did know
remember when the night all that mattered never tomorrow
horrifed, struck dead yes we've lost our wings
before we even gave it a try before we learned to fly
our fabled story the moonlit night shall sings
once more upon the time before the sky begins to cry

when painted with black and blue robbed of the light of moon
when the rain shall fall and pours Goodbye shall follow soon
