Yes it will help to keep you warm in cold weather. It aids circulation, that's probably why. I always like to eat more raw garlic in the winter.
There will be some scent on you from eating it regularly, but mostly from your breath. Eating Parsley to freshen breath helps, and making sure you really wash the garlic off your hands, with warm water and some scented soap/shower gel.

True. The more it's cooked the less medicinal value. But that's okay if it's just the flavour you want.

I never tried put garlic on acne, maybe it will more effective.
I also drink green tea(daily), use sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) and vicks vaporub(especially on cystic acne) for acne.
My acne always stop by every summer

It does make sense that Garlic could help to clear your skin when eaten regularly. Garlic applied right onto a wound can really sting and hurt, and for some wounds may not be a wise thing as it is a bit irritant -especially for an open wound! But it would help infection.

An old Russian 19th century (or earlier?) remedy for many ailments, was to chop garlic very fine and add it to grated apple, and eat that with only water to drink, until improvement is seen!
Another Russian remedy from long ago was to 'tap' a Birch tree for some sap, which was collected in a tiny cup bound onto the tree. And take that each morning, fasting. That was supposed to cure skin problems.

Rather than have garlic breath, I take garlic in capsules, I buy the organic ones, so feel that I'm getting the health benefits.

Thanks, I think bread + parsley + garlic is a good menu for breakfast and for snacks

That's why I never get the advantage from garlic. Garlic is the most important ingredients in almost all asian foods. My mother also use a lot of garlic, but the garlic always cooked till turns yellow golden. Thanks for the info.
