Thanks to everyone who has commented on this thread. Everyone has helped me to see that tears need not be embarrassing. To just let them pass, as I do my thoughts when I meditate.
I'll look upon the tears as a form of healing.

I did this too a while a go.. shed a bit of tears. Felt like I was overwhelmed with the calmness(?) energy(?) or more like what Gem just said. whatever it is, I think its a good sign
