Having Trouble Lucid Dreaming.

Hello everyone, I hope you're well.

Not sure if this is the right spot to post this, but nonetheless here it is.

I just wanted to say that I feel extremely drawn to lucid dreaming and astral projection, but haven't had any luck. Perhaps I haven't poured enough effort into trying, or maybe meditation would be beneficial. But I don't know, I've tried various 'techniques' and haven't had any luck intentionally causing one to occur. I have lucid dreamed before, but never by intention or through a technique, the hand full of times I've lucid dreamed it happened spontaneously and therefore I had little awareness and quickly dropped back into unconsciousness.

Any tips? It's weird, but when I read about techniques I resonate with them and understand them on an intellectual level, but when it actually comes to waking up and and attempting a technique, I feel this, like, block. Like, it feels like I know in the back of my head that it won't work, this unnerves me, because like I said, I really want to become a 'master' lucid dreamer of sorts. I see the dreamland as a place of absolute wonder, I see it as a place of learning and fun, I know I said I wanted to become a master, but that's obviously not right, you can't be a master and know everything, but I want to be at the point where I can lucid dream frequently and be confident in my abilities, the raise in awareness and consciousness is also a plus haha.

Any tips, anyone have or having similar troubles. The desire is there, the belief, maybe not so much. But yeah, thanks for reading, I know I wrote a lot of unnecessary filler, but yeah, thank you I appreciate it.
