Room vibrating during meditation
Last night I was doing a guided meditation to meet up with my guide. Everything was going well but towards the end I started to experience vertigo. I opened my eyes to see if that would stop it but when I opened them the room looked like it was vibrating. The vibrating lasted for a good five minutes. Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas why it happened?

Hello.. Sounds like you may be accessing the astral realm during your meditation... You will also read of many people's experience with vibration... I've felt vibrations just laying in bed & going into a more relaxed kind of meditative state.. It felt like the bed itself was vibrating but I know it was just my energy. :) Hope that helps!

manna... These kinds of feelings happen when we've separated from the physical body a little. It's a natural thing that happens when we sleep, but this time you were aware of it.
If you'll train yourself to breathe down in your belly, next time you'll be able to breathe on through it more comfortably.

Breathe through the vertigo more comfortably or the vibrating room? The room vibrating was pretty neat but the vertigo is what I want to avoid. I hate the feeling of my spirit turning around and around and around at least thats how vertigo feels to me.

The more you practice, the less of the physical sensations will remain. Your body is new to this separation thing. It's not that your spirit is really going anywhere but you are getting in a new vibrational state and yet your body is still trying to keep you grounded to earth. Kinda like a little tug of war. :)
Practice will help, keep doing it :)

Breathe through all of it. When you resist the feelings they intensify and get worse. With belly breathing and relaxing you'll go on through them more quickly and easily.
