Ghostly Mother

My friend reported that there was an angry ghost at her home that was violently shaking her door. When I asked her about things, she said that she felt that it was her mother and her mother has been around her. She said that it's probably because she had been away a while and the ghost felt neglected.

When I meditated on it, I discovered that it is indeed her mom, and that the mother is earthbound. I made a white light and asked her mom to go into it to pass on, but she didn't.

When I chatted with my friend today, she said that her mom has been dead since 1991, and she felt that her mom has never left her side. I asked her to convince her mom to go into the white light the next time I make one, but it sounds like she wants her mom around. I don't know who convinced who that the other person/spirit needs them around, and what it would take to convince the mom to move on, but any advice would be appreciated.

I am not a shrink , but that sounds like codependency ,or something like that. I guess if your friend proves to her mom she is ok with out her the mom can go on to the higher astral realms .

Thank you desert rat, that's exactly what it sounded like to me. Last night I made the light again for the mom, and I emphasized that if she moved on, she would be able to visit any time she wanted to, and also, she would be in a better place to help because she would be her higher self in spirit, and I'm glad to report that she did go into the light.

My friend said before that happened, she felt strange emotions that weren't from here. Sadness, happiness, anger, and then excitement. Now that the mom moved on, she feels calm.
