how can someone have memories of past lives that doesnt affect his life now?

Do you mean affect negatively?
Some memories can be very blaise. Many of my past lives gave me a deeper understanding of this life.

Also, when I was a child, I did remember my (previous)parents in past lives, which gave me a basis of understanding that not all parent's are abusive. I would chime in, and tell my parents how loving my other parent's were, and what my current life parents did wrong. It did cause my mom in particular to rage, but I always knew of a different way of life.

Having knowledge of my past lives, made my childhood more bearable, and although, I did question whether I would make it to adulthood, I knew that death was only the beginning.

I have a memory that does affect me but in a positive way. A difficult relationship with my father, all rejection based and all grubby. I worked through a lot of disappointment at how he I had been lied to and manipulated.

I took myself off to see a healer and she was fab, she explained that in a previous life I had been my father's son, and had been killed by a rock falling on me. Dad had been beside himself, feeling he had failed me and wanted another chance to be a good father to me.

Cue this lifetime and I enter the world, dad is expecting me but I rock up as a girl. The disappointment dad feels is immense and he has never reconciled that and hence the way he treats me.

However, because of what I know about his journey and how it interacts with mine, my heart just goes out to him with compassion and I can forgive him in a way that I couldn't before. I see him as someone who is a victim as much as I am. The tragedy of his story has touched me immensely and changed the way I regard him. I pray he will recognise me before he dies and so he won't have to take this burden with him into another life.

How can you take responsibility for acts that were not comitted by your own consciousness?
