Just to let you now you don't have to wait 30 years. If you are drawn to a pagan path, odds are you have already been 'called' in a since. It is the willingness to acting on the feeling that earth based spirituality needs to be a part of our lives, that makes it a part of us. You feel it , and then you fallow that feeling. It does not have to be dramatic.
My spirituality does not have set doctrine or forum of worship. It is based on my personal experiences, and what i know of the spiritual practices of my ancestors. My human family goes back to pre-Saxon Britton. Their spirituality, like mine, is heavily earth based, and involved a strong connection to the Faerie. in a sense the Faerie realms, can be seen as a spiritual aspect of the earth. Faerie based spiritual practices were transmitted from Britton to Ireland, which is how most of what is known about it survived the Last Anglo-Saxon invasion.
I work closely with Faeries as guides, which basically means that they help teach me, and guide me on my path. It also means i share a very deep connection with them. They are my other family.
Not all of my spiritual practice comes from my ancestry. I have three patron deities. While two of them were worshiped in Ireland and Britton the third is Pre-Greek. I he also recently become interested in angelic being, and the Wiccan Goddess Aradia.
