Perhaps this thing with raising your vibration, having a higher vibration is just a fancy "name" given to a state of higher awareness.I think we should focus more on rising our awareness, a greater awareness means that you are more present in this very moment and it also means that you have a greater understanding of the world around you and inside you.

Tamas being low & phlegmatic
Rajas medium & earthy
Satva high vibration corresponding with purity

I think that the idea of vibration is more than just a "fancy name". Everything vibrates at different frequencies, including our own bodies. And it is more difficult for awareness to express itself through a slow and sluggish body. But yes, raising our awareness is the key to greater self-expression.

Thank you for mentioning the Gunas. They are often overlooked in these discussions and yet they can be applied in so many ways.

Anger and rage are low vibration or low frequency. Just because something is powerful or fast in the physical world doesn't mean it is born of high frequency. There is too little common understanding in this thread of what is meant by high vibration. The OP is way out there on their own with interpreting Paul's words for one example.
