Let's talk about names...
Hi.. my husband and I have 5 boys and a beautiful grandson. There names are Jonathan, Matthew, Benjamin, Samuel, Joseph and finally little Isaac.. I do not think it was a conscious thought in the beginning to choose only biblical names for the children.. but soon became apparent.. to the point that I would never now consider a name for a child that wasn't Bible. Any thoughts? ... Or is it just me lol....

I have been researching my Family Tree and have gotten as far back as 5th Century, what a headache trying to work out who's who as they mostly used the same names ( Biblical ).
I think religion plays a big part in name choosing, as mine are all Christians each Generation has basically not strayed from either Saints or Biblical, I wish they had It would have made my search a lot easier.
My favorite is Jakobi which is Son of Jakobus ( Jacob )
My 8th Grt Grandfather.....

Hi it's interesting isn't it? Don't know about you but seems to me that boys in particular are given names in accordance over girls. ..The trend also includes being named after monarchs , who may or may not appear in Bible. .. AHH yes lovely name. Isaacs mummy n daddy have said if they had another boy they like Jacob.
