The Buddha said...

The Buddha said that we are never separated from enlightenment.
Even at the times we feel most stuck, we are never alienated from the awakened state.
This is a revolutionary assertion.
Even ordinary people like us with hangups and confusion have this mind of enlightenment called bodhicitta.
The openness and warmth of bodhicitta is in fact our true nature and condition.

Greetings..

Many people say many things.. Buddha's words and Lao Tzu's words have the same source as the words written on the subway walls, tagged on building walls, and shouted in the Arab Spring..

Our "true nature" is the Life we live, right here and right now..

Be well..

Yes and actually the words on the subway wall may be even more relevant considering the time span from when the Buddha spoke and now. This span has given opportunity for conscious life to evolve further and see itself more clearly.

Bow to the Buddha, well we are all the Buddha, there is only one Buddha, Gautama himself became the Buddha, or realized he's Buddha Nature.

You cannot travel the path until you have become the path itself.
