How do we look in the spirit world?

If they can look through the roofs of our houses, does that mean they can see through our clothes too ?

Does Spirit-X-Ray vision have a dimmer switch, so they can dial up to penetrate roofs and cars and even underground, and then back off so that they don't have to always be looking at our junk ?.

I mean... how does that all work ?

When we cross over into the spirit world can we appear to our loved ones as we were at a younger age or the age that we knew them at, like say we die when we are really old will we appear as we were when we died to others. I know this is rather superficial because we all just energy and at the heart of it how we look does not matter but personally I would like to look good when I see my loved ones in the spirit world for the first time

Hi, SaraTherase. You know, it's so funny - I was just wondering this today as I went for a little walk through the wintery woods! Perhaps we connected in the psychic realm today and both had the same question?

What came up for me was my spirit will look like that ray of golden morning sunlight that slanted down onto the snow. Also the colours pink and orange came to mind.

But I have to wonder if we can and do manipulate our appearance so we can look however we want to look. When I go to the spirit world I'll be looking for my Dad and my Lynx Uncle - and I'll be looking for them as how they appeared on earth. I hope they can make themselves appear this way at first so I can recognize them. because being a newly disembodied spirit, I might be still used to the physical realm and able to perceive only in the physical sense for the first while.

Yeah , but who cares?
It's not like beings in Spiritland have nothing better to do than hover over us and judge or assess or even look at what we do with any perspective similar to what ours generally is now . I used to be self-conscious about people "over there" watching me , but that's just lame . There aren't commitees of vindictive Behavioral Monitors waiting to pounce on us as soon as we die and embarass us in front of the class .

We should get it together here and now for ourselves, not because we think
beings "over there" actually care about any little personal details of our lives . I know I'm not going to muck around in the Spirit realms following
people here around and compiling records on them . I plan to have a life in the afterlife

I believe the spirits can appear however they wish to do so. My deceased father has appeared to me in many ways--the way he looked last before his fatal illness began--and also the way he looked just before he died to name two ways. He also appeared to another young psychic I was friends with--but in a way he looked when he was very young--about 20 or 22yoa.

I've seen many people who have passed over, who would come to me much younger then their age at their death. Ill people, generally would come to me as they looked when young and healthy. So, I think it is up to the spirit as to how they wish to be seen. My grandmother appeared to me in an age that I never knew her as--and probably because it was an age where she felt quite happy and comfortable with herself.

I too saw my grandmother much younger than i knew her before she passed away:) she actually appeared to me as a smiling photo in a nice wood picture frame. Below there was a sign that read grandmother. I think she wanted to be sure id recognized her :)

We are energy. It's the soul (energy) that continues, not the body. We'll have many, many bodies. We will likely appear as light/vibration in some form. I believe that those (still alive) who see people as they were in the most recent lifetime, do so for the sake of convenient recognition. (It's a handy thing that the Universe does.) Once on the other side, we have no need of physicality.
