Negativity
I'm feeling negative. Is that good or bad? You tell me.

It's never good to feel negative, it isn't always easy to stay positive, but with practice it can be done. I believe that how we feel is how content we are with our lives. negativity seems to bring discontent.

i think there's different levels of negativity.
i could be in a snitty mood over something minor or i could be a big black cloud over everything.
i think the extreme can manifest in physical problems. negativity puts your body and mind out of balance.

Negative emotions are actually alien to the human body and the body has no defense against the damages these can cause. They can cause psychological disorders such as psychosis, they cause stress/anxiety, which can wreak havoc on the immune systems and nervous systems.

To feel is always a good thing. If you feel negative feelings, then it's worth looking at what those feelings stem from.
It may be that there is something external in your life to change.
It may be that there is a way of thinking, or your approach to life would benefit from change.
It may be that emotions from the past need a release to enable you to look at life in a new way.
If you listen to what negative feelings are trying to show you, they can be that light of guidance, highlighting where you can change your life around.

I have studied the anatomy of the stress response, and what you say here is factually inaccurate. The stress response is completely natural and the body produces specific hormones to create it. The body is also adapted to return to normal, completely unaffected by the changes it undergoes during stress.
What the body is not adapted for, is long term stress. When stress is on-going and the body doesn't have chance to return to homeostasis, then it causes problems.

It's neither good or bad, it is the way it is. You've identified the problem, judging it won't solve it. Identifying the cause and resolving it will, and that I can't help you with because only you can know.

Perhaps you can explain a little more into detail, what you mean by "feeling negative".
Generally speaking, it's the whole YIN and YANG thing. You can't appreciate the good times without the bad times.
And feeling "negative" at someone or something can sometimes be a self-defense mechanism in which your body and/or soul tells you "hey, i'm not so sure about this thing/person, better take a closer look or consider leaving yourself out of this!?"...
So no, I can't answer your question just like that. There's just no sufficient information as to WHY you're feeling negative in your post.

It's just a test question about you. The OP went on a posting jag the other night and posted 25 of these questions in various forums. He's just looking for responses, maybe he's working on a self-help book.

Here's the thing you are either the one in control or the one controlled with regard to being positive or negative.
You either:
Wake up and decide to be happy and spread happiness regardless of what unpleasant things you have to put up with. Your mind is strong and it disempowers negativity. If you do this you will be happy and positive and people will like you.
You wait for circumstances to be in your favor to change your mood to a positive output mindset. This is bad because it's a reactive happiness and dependent on others and circumstantial events. This is where you may be less frequently happy because you are not in control of your emotions.
