A Waste of Time Called Church

Not that greatest book but I do credit it with giving me an understanding of my relationship with God. I grew up in not a religious house but one of a Christian environment. We adopted our faith in defense of our friends and relatives that were devote. We abstained from questions out of respect. Any true spiritual discussion was always cut short out of fear we were making fun of those with stronger faiths. I have always had a strong sense of connection and belief in a meaning, but at the same time an intense respect for those that adhere to a faith. But this respect never lead me to a church, as much as I respect those that participate I can't help but feel the opposite towards organized religion. So when the author said your God is bigger than a church or a religion and so are you. It made sense to me
