Have you ever been a guide

Have ever been a guide to anyone in between your past lives? Intuitively, I don't think I have. While I know I have had several past lives - perhaps not as many as some people here. I am pretty sure this life today is my first life or time the earthly veil has been lifted in my human state of consciousness I was awakened to; or became aware of my natural state of eternal consciousness. It is in this context that I have begun to contemplate this idea. Any thoughts?

I'm guessing that we don't become someone else's guide until we are done incarnating. That's just a guess on my part but it makes sense that we would have to feel confident enough in the "end goal" and have been successful at this life thing before we would attempt to guide someone else.

As to this being your first life, I remember reading somewhere that few come here (i.e. Earth) as their first incarnation. It seemed to imply that there were other planets that were better "training grounds"--maybe if they are more highly evolved than we are. Again--just a guess.

I believe that I have been a guide, yes, and also that I failed terribly at some crucial point. Recurring numinous dreams have indicated this.

Hi Lora, you insight certainly makes sense.

As for this being my first life -- no I am certain I have had several here. Sorry if I did not make communicate that clearly. What I was trying to say is this life - is my first life I became aware of a my other lives and of the other other side. In my other lives I just sort of went along to get along and lived purely in the material world.

I too have read what you are referring to regarding other lives in other easier dimensions or planets if you will. The article also suggested that other dimensional beings have had human experiences but do not fit in or make the transition very well. The article eluded to the idea that like here on earth, when we cross over there are different (races) or dimensional beings. What I found intriguing about the article is that we don't even realize that we (our human existence) are analogous rock stars participating in an extreme sport. Who woulda' thunk :)

Ohhh no! Those dreams must be fascinating. Do you recall any details? I would love to read about what you remember experiencing. I have read you actually pick your spirit guides before incarnation so I hope you do not have any regrets with this experience. Anyway, thanks for sharing.
