Thanks for sharing the story, BlueElephant.

I agree that a Guru, if one is fortunate enough to encounter One, is a boon of immeasurable proportions and immense help to a spiritual seeker (of sincerity)

There are those who have taken the roads less travelled and we are all the more better for it

Namaste,

jl

The one place I find a 'guru' is from my 'little voice' My 'little voice', almost identical to Socrates 'little voice', always resonates with truth and is an excellent teacher.

Many on this Forum have found their 'guru(s)' is/are their Angels, Guides, etc..

Yes, JL. It is said in so many ways how rare and valuable to meet a true Guru is, let alone to live and study with one. Gratitude Gratitude Gratitude.

Guru is found in many ways... however, it is the living Guru that kicks *** a bit better - if it needs kicking - otherwise the chance is high that we are fulfilling our egoic needs - usually - not always.

The egoic mind is a huge block to real and valid (did I say Mind-blowing) spiritual Realization.

What is the difference between intuition and inspiration? intuition is past-life knowledge coming up; inspiration is God sharing with us new knowledge.
