Just curious to know peoples definition of a Spiritual Journey ? I am sure it varies with the individual ~

Thanks,

I can understand your definition, not a problem with it at all , thank you for sharing.

I guess I was curious to know peoples definitions because I have been asked how I am coming along on my spiritual journey, and I am not sure I have one ?

For one who aims at, or put one's mind into spiritual affairs, life itself and all in it are spiritual journey.
For those who aren't concerned at all with spiritual affairs, nothing is a spiritual journey.

I think for people who don't concern themselves with spiritual affairs it's not that they don't take a spiritual journey but more that they are preparing for it or are subconciously already on it, by focussing on the material world now they can later have a "been there, done that" feeling and focus more on spirituality.
(Later being "later in this life" or "later in the next one")

The path or journey is needed by many, until they realize that they were there already, in this realization they then realize that the path only took them away from where they were all along, but still, they cannot realize this until they are there, right where they were before the journey.
