I prefer the darker side of it all
I currently have the imperial insignia as my desktop picture on my laptop; had the best ships, best uniforms, the death star etc
Not forgetting the sheer majesty of Emperor Palpatine and the clinical precision of Messrs Maul & Vader
perhaps the Alderaan thing was a little harsh though
Not so keen on this First Order, again fantastic aesthetically but no substitute for the original Empire. A CG supreme leader who looks more like Gollum is a bit so-so. The boy, Ren, shows promise mind. Need to up their game for next episode
Am MASSIVELEY looking forward to Rogue One; has for me as a loyal imperialist the potential to be, along with Sith, to be my favourite of the lot!
To get Vader, possibly Palpatine, maybe even Governor Tarkin (bless him) again plus the original Death Star is a fan dream come true.
All we need now is a dedicated darth plagueis/darth sidious movie and Im done & happy for life!
