Soul mates Our Beloved Pets.

Hey, I recently lost my soul mate pet. A beautiful blue point Siamese named Storm (I have a couple of threads in other areas of the forum, because I am heartbroken.and I thought what better place to find compassion and understanding and insight about departed pets.) I also have a dog that I think is a soul mate too:) He is also heart broken he lost his best friend his kitty. It makes me think that they are soul mates a cat and a dog.

I Believe we have special connections with our pets. I will use the label soul mates. I am thinking about reincarnating pets that come back in a different body. I am fairly certain that I have had the same cat twice now. This little soul will return to me in time. I will recognize it.

What does everyone think? Do you have /had a special connection to a pet? Do you think they keep coming back? Any thoughts and feelings on this would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely yes. My dog is like my best friend, we share a very special bond. I 100% believe she is a soul mate!

tealtwist I'm sorry for your lost. storm is in a better place,

your dog also senses that storm is also no longer with you as well, i think animals tend to feel when a loved one has passed away too. when i was little my two rotroliers who were brother and sister named bone & ebony died. i was upset i miss them. of course animals and espesically of diffarent species can be soulmates and friends. i think animals can get along better with each other more so than humans because they don't see race or colour but they no they are diffarent from each other. if they can co- exist togeather why can't us sometimes. ?

I believe very much that animals can be a part of our soul family--certainly all mine have been! I do remember some of the history we've shared in past lives as well, which maybe gives me a bit of a different perspective in how we connect with animals and they with us. Let's just say that I can see the connection that we have now in this life has a precedent, at least with the animals I've been close to in my life so far!

*hugs* I am sorry to hear about your loss! That's such a hard thing to go through!

My answer to whether we can have a Soul mate relationship with an animal is Yes! We can and do.
My dog was when she lived, and still is now she has moved to the spirit world. I recognized her always as "being of the same Soul-Group as me."
I always felt something like this when she was alive here. But I didn't stop to think about it. We just were.
But since she has "passed on" -the essence of her is even stronger (still her in every sense, but more "concentrated" somehow, like something in her has distilled.) And I have begun to realize it is, and always was, this essence which will always be bonded with my essence.
I have no idea how things will pan out, how many forms we might become in passages of time yet, and ways of manifestation, or how many other Souls I may encounter that I connect with in this same way. Apart from my mother, she is the only one so far I've known while alive here.

It is tough. I am sure he has been with me at least twice. He will come back if he can.
I could call him from anywhere and he would come running.Just the thought of this makes me think yep he will come back. Even as he laid under the deck dying he still meowed his head off talking to me. He was most likely trying to come out to say goodbye. I always tell him I don't speak Siamese. But I did lol.

It makes it easier to read others stories on this. I always have shared a special bond with animals, and thought they defiantly are soul pets that come to our lives. I was also curious just for others opinions on reincarnating soul animals. If it has happened to them etc.....

I lost my little dog a few months ago..She was so tiny my cats were bigger than her..I always used to say she really was a cat, as she acted more like one than a dog..
I had been wondering if she would come back..I actually felt sure she would..
Well a few days ago a stray kitten decided to just walk into our home..We have looked for her owner ,but no one is claiming her..She has made herself at home like she has always lived here..

She has the same colors as my little dog that passed and even the same personality..So I do wonder has she come back as a cat

When I was about... 3 or 4. I went to a cat rescue place, I remember going up to a tabby cat who was timid picking him up and saying 'this one.' His name was vincent and he lived for a good 10-12 years.. (he was already 3 or 4) He was my best friend, and I loved him dearly and I knew he loved me back. He would only let me hold him, or pick him up. He was really timid, and would only sleep in my room.

When we had to get him put down, I knew the minute I saw him. It took 2-3 injections and me to repeat 'it's okay, please, go, I don't want you to suffer - I love you' for him to finally pass over.

I miss this cat so much, he was my baby and I hope one day his soul will be in my life again :) Or at least I get to see his soul when I pass over. Hey, it would be even cooler if that life made him evolve into somewhat a 'human' (you know what I mean) soul. I would love that.
