Dogs and cats.

I live a boring, sheltered life, sorry.
I could elaborate and say clean dogs and cats...

This may be very indulgent, but I'm waiting for Dr Who to download.

Am surprised by the responses so far (dogs, cats). They are so close to our level of consciousness...however I guess they are a 'safe' bet and keep us in our comfort zone.

We know where we are with a cat or a dog.

I do like something challenging. Something that lives deep deep down in the salty sea and is rather unusual to look at.

Or something that is so 'ugly' (in our eyes), our curiosity is piqued to discover more about it.

Aye sloths are good, they are akin to our personality (lazy flibbertijibs) and also rather wild. I'll give you a point.

Foxes ! - just about the most adaptive animal in Britain, thriving in urban environments. Revered by our ancestors as being wise and, being a burrowing animal, having a link into more than one realm of being, carrying messages between Middle Earth [here] and Underworld. Old foxes were said to carry pearls of wisdom in their heads.

[@SQ - so wadja fink about Dr Who, mes ami ? ]
