Only the Evangelical denomination, or any Christian denomination?

I would encourage you to explore the content of the Near-Death.com website... The founder of the site was a former fundamentalist Christian who later became a univeralist Christian. Here is some information about him and his site:

I have heard of n.d.e.s from people that did not believe in God or an after life change after having the n.d.e.

I'm not trying to sway you, I respect you in accepting whatever belief system resonates with you, but during/after my NDE (raised Christian, became Atheist) I learned unconditional love is the most important thing that exists. How can that be a trick of Satan, especially when Christ himself seemed to have been teaching that very thought? Post NDE I see the many of my errors in my past and I understand why people "sin". I see the truth of being "born again" and how it's been twisted into a gimmick and fad for certain religions for profit. I might add that I'd say that in a general discussion not involved toward a specific person but never directly to anyone as to their personal beliefs (unless they were harmful), but since you say you want to believe, I'm kinda making an exception. The only way to do that is to do some research. Here's a great place to start http://www.nderf.org/.

If, because of your religious convictions, you're afraid in searching that it might be a sin, ask yourself, "if God really loves me, why would he punish me in searching for truth?" If God really loves you, me...anyone, in searching (without falling into religious dogma) the truth will become evident (do you understand the true meaning of the Prodigal Son?).
Above all, my only advice would be no matter what you do or choose to "believe", remember the Golden Rule and truly understand and practice it.

Peace and best wishes.

Hi ask21771,

What exactly are you looking for if you don't mind my asking? Like what about that link that was provided, didn't ring true to you?
