My daughter's naming ceremony
I mentioned earlier on another thread about my daughter receiving her spirit name during her naming ceremony.
This took place when she was about 2 months. I was very beautifully done. Unlike a baptisim where water is used, flower petals are used instead.
A reading was chosen, by the medium, after the reading the medium who links with the world of spirit and channels a spiritual name.
Of course, both my mother and I were wondering what possible name could be given. The strange thing about it, if you can call it strange, the name that was given by spirit to the medium was Roberta.
My birth father's name was Robert, I can't remember him as I was very young when he passed on. The only people who knew of him and his name that day, was my mother and myself :)
