Ex-Boss Dream/Higher self?

I was looking for some help on a dream I had last night.

I was in what looked like a big hotel. Quite traditional looking. Wooden staircases etc. There was some kind of event or conference taking place here. I got fired from a job in January (this year) and in the dream my old boss from this place was there - Alan. He is a tall, confident and very successful man.

In the dream he was wearing a grey suit but I was trying to avoid him. He managed to catch up with me and we were walking while talking. He was asking me about what went wrong and why I got fired (he didn't fire me). I can't remember what I told him, but I remember I hid the truth from him - Which was my that my heart wasn't in it. I couldn't get motivated for role.

He then asked me about my future plans and I told him what I was planning to do (I have quite big dream/goals which are going to stretch me). As I was telling him, I didn't quite feel convinced that I could achieve them. I somehow felt a little under qualified to be able to do these things I wanted. Perhaps I was afraid of him judging me since I got fired from the place he worked.

As a side note I always got the impression he kind of liked me. He was the top boss and he basically gave me the job. Alot of people were generally quite afraid of him but I didn't seem him like that. This is the second time I have had a dream about him. I thought it might have something to do with my higher self? But I am unsure.

Any thoughts or ideas please?

Definitely it is your higher self or a guardian. High guidance. Because he is the boss. The dream characters aren't really them, but show what kind of guidance is accompanying you. Obviously you can't lie to him. Your insecurities are showing and you both know what they are. You are reviewing your goals.

yes I'd say definitely about your higher self as well.
