Why ruin a good life here and Now over something that happened in the past ?. The past is gone you cannot go back there and what keeps us there is the mind, we think if we can get back there that we can make everything alright again and then be happy, it just cannot be done. So, as long as you are trying to get to the past you'll never be happy in the NOW, that's all there is is this NOW. Happiness is not found in the past it is within you, find your true SELF first and all else will take care of itself,

Hi Rosewater

Write a list of sorrys if you want or forgiveness ( whatever is required in your past) put all loving intent into it.
Place it in a saucepan and burn it .. please make sure u watch it with loving thoughts .. then when all burnt sprinkle with water and put in rubbish bin outside .

u can release the past that way

:)

Have you ever seen that movie..can't think of the name of it......was it Butterfly Effect?...where this guy keeps going back to the past to change a wrong but then the ripples of changing it just makes it worse? There are other movies like this to.
The past does not exist anymore..in each moment its gone. That's why its so important to keep this in mind. The other thing is to realise that wisdom and growth come out of it and teaches us to break the cycle of things we want to leave behind. So the past has its place in the scheme of things.

According to quantum physics this is possible. An observation creates an appropriate history. This is not just a perception thing, but the observation actually changes what physically happened before the observation took place.
This has been proven scientifically.

Don't dismiss this as being a quantum effect only. Quantum theory puts no limitation on the size of an object and effects have been demonstrated on whole atomic clusters and molecules.

Now we only have to find some practical methods to apply it to life.

It would be cool to travel back in time and re-live all those nostalgic memories. But to go back to correct a wrong is silly. You're still alive aren't you, so use this precious time to make amends.

Happy New Year everyone to you and yours, Blessings for 2011 and I hope it brings manys smiles, much laughter and lots of love to you all. xxx

Hi Rosewater,
You have been given some fab advice here so just adding my two pennorth. Each of us, no matter who we are, have a past. Some of it good, some of it bad but ALL of the experiences we take from it, the lessons we've learnt, all the thoughts we've had upto this precise moment in time make us the person we are right here, right now. Mine's been dogged with illness and trauma since being 14, and still is .. would I change any of it not on ya nelly (northern uk saying lol). Learn to forgive the perpetrators of your past, recognise they are on their own pathway through life just as you are, and have their own lessons to learn, it doesn't mean you condone, far from it, but once you forgive them, you begin to forgive yourself for allowing it to happen, work with the guilt and let that go, all the bitterness anger and regret, and allow acceptance of self, recognition of who and what you're NOT, because you have to know that before you know who and what you are .. and learn to like yourself before ultimately the biggy .. loving yourself. Hope that's helped a bit.
Love light and laughter
Jue xx

The answer is yes

I can give you a exercise to try if you like..?? I haven't had success with it myself (consciously ) but I haven't tried that hard either..

I hate to ruin it for you.. but a more balanced viewpoint.. would be to let go of these "problems" in the past.. and realize you’re a new person in each and every second..

My teacher says.. that one reason why are life’s sucks (he doesn't say it that way) is cause we walk around the planet and were wearing blue socks and someone comes up to us and says "I don't like your blue socks, they stink"

And we drop out of our space.. and into our ego.. and start going..

"man maybe I shouldn't wear blue socks"

"why doesn't he like my blue socks?"

"ohh, this blue socks business makes me feel bad"

And so.. we finally have enough of this "blue socks sucks game" and we decide were not going to deal with it.. and so we take that problem and throw it in the "unconscious"

Then through the rest of your life.. you run into people with "blue socks" and you inherently don't like them.. and you don't know WHY.. you just don't like them..

That's because they remind you of the time you forgot about.. putting that thing in the "unconscious"

Why did I write out this elaborately long story??

Because you don't like things in your past.. and those are your blue socks..

I would personally just make peace with anything in your past.. declare yourself a new person (cause you are) we only exist in the now.. were just f#$^#$^ crazy and carry our past "blue socks" into the present and get to experience the pain in the background of our lives via "law of attraction"

Ironically many of our lives run around in a loop according to my teacher.. were living in a recreation of a problem that happened in the past looping right back into the present.. (damn, he so says it better )

Change this statement to "I had a really interesting and nice time back in high school I was not a victim but I allowed myself to play one" and I regret nothing..

You see even in the now your "blue socks" are still with you.. cause you were "abused" and had "illness" and "disorders" and you've been recreating that in your life all this time..

Might I suggest you create some happiness? some love? Some excitement? Some joy?

Come on creator god.. you can do it!

I have insight on time travel.. however it's a lot easier for you to use the suggested idea I have for changing your past.. or for you to look at your beliefs *cough* blue socks *cough* unconscious creations

(quick note.. unconscious beliefs can create too)

For what I know about time travel see my teacher.. or another post I wrote in this forum I believe

Yes it was The Butterfly Effect and that film is a good example of why we should be reconciled with the past, because even though you perceive something to have gone terribly wrong in the past, if that event didn't happen, something much worse could have happened. You never know . A few months back I found a really good quote about the past, it was something like "The past is simply our memories and imagination." Even though it was all very real at the time, it's not happening anymore and we are imagining the painful event over and over. It's not worth the pain my dear. I'm not saying at all that it is easy to get over the past because I very often live in past painful events too, I guess it becomes a habit.

I don't have an answer to your question apart from I did think about quantum physics, like pre-dawn said but I don't really know that much about it apart from according to quantum physics, there is no sense of time (I think, anyone correct me if I'm wrong).

Anyway I hope what I said was helpful. I am pretty much in the same situation as you right now so I know how you feel.

Much love and hugs
