Coming home

One of my favorite experiences is the feeling of coming home. I think we all can relate to the warm feeling of returning to a place of familiarity and safety. I know my adventures have taken me across the world and coming home on a jet plan is always my favorite feeling.

I think about dying as a home coming. When all our fears and insecurities wash away, and once again we are bathed in God's love and we meet our friends and family. I've heard it as a celebration. I think I'm a bit obsessed with that, at the moment. However I want to offer encouragement to people who think they aren't feeling loved or wanted at the moment. You are!

We need to see love work in us. We are all creatures of love, and we are natural born to give it too. Home... I just want to say home is where ever you are.

Happy Friday everyone!

That's a nice post soulforce

I think about dying the same way ... going home ..

I used to feel some kind of pity for someone who had died, as if they somehow failed. I realize now that's how I was brought up. When someone died it was long faces and "Poor xyz!", as if that person was now worse off. When I started reading NDEs it was such a liberating feeling. I had always suspected something like this would happen, because some experiences I had pointed to another possibility, but the conditioning was strong. Now I'm not scared of dying, sometimes I even look forward to it. Although I'm still scared that I'll have pain or suffer physically a lot before the final let go.

Anyway. Yes HOME is a good word!

I know that feeling of coming home, both here in this world traveling and then returning home,
and also the comfort of our spiritual home. A home because it is the source of our being, from
which we sprang. A most incredible feeling of joy. Graceful passages; transitions in what we call
“death.”.

LETTING YOURSELF BE LOVED,
From “Lessons From the Heart, By Lew Epstein

“No one has ever prepared us for this experience,
We think it’s the end – no,
It’s another beginning.
It’s knowing that you are loved,
It’s not easy, letting yourself be loved,
Because we’ve learned to judge ourselves,
We’re always judging ourselves.

But I’ve learned to listen that I was loved. I am loved!
But then I would forget that I was loved.
Those were the most painful times for me…
Forgetting that I was loved.

So you’ve let yourself be loved while you’ve been here.
And you judged yourself.
And you’ve forgotten that you were loved,
And you became alone…but you will always be here.

You are blessed, you are forgiven, you are an angel.
You have to listen that you are loved and you have to forgive all the time.
Thank you for letting me love you, thank you for letting yourself be loved.

God bless you.”

I'm making a list of the places I want to go and the things I want to do when I get 'Home'.

When I get home I’m going to have a great meal, a feast, its’ going to be out of this world.
