I don't know who my guides are

I've had someone tell me my guide is an American Indian lady, but i've tried to verify but cannot.

I try to meditate, but it's all noise. Trying to quiet the noise and get a concrete answer is very difficult. My past life karma is interfering greatly.

Anyone have anything that might help ?

Have you tried different exercises through meditation to find your guide/s yet?

I have one I tried from a book I had purchased from what is now my local library.

Hopefully it will help you. I will write it out and describe it here for you:

Imagine you are at a park, sitting on a bench, relaxing and simply taking in the scenery. You hear approaching from the grass ahead, and you look up to see your guide.

Note: What does your guide look like? Maybe you could try and communicate with them, ask them if there is anything they may like to let you know. What are they doing in your visualization?

This is an example of a simple exercise, relax while you visualize, but try not to expect too much. If nothing seems to happen that is fine too, relax. It doesn't mean you failed if the meditations are not working. It merely means to keep trying and to give it time.

it could be that your idea of past life karma being a factor is purely imagined.
this is the forefront of creation, and you invent your past in the now moment.
release your grip on karma, and it won't interfere with your actions.

i've seen some guided meditations geared towards finding spiritual guides
(on Youtube), and there's some here on the forums as well.
