Spring is coming

I did a tad of gardening on Saturday and was horrified to find bulbs are already coming into their own. I remember daffodils out in December last year - but are the seasons really messed up?

I have bulbs coming up too and it was snowing this morning. It was much of the same this time last year.

A few years ago a tree blossomed outside my work in December, very strange!

I don't like it me. I prefer winter to be winter and not mingled with spring.

Where I live, we are in fall and headed towards winter. And the flocks of birds flying here (I am "south") have been incredible to watch. I was driving to work last week and a flock of huge white pelicans flew over my car - they were following the river and I was on the bridge overpass. that's some big birds...
