Well I guess I'm the opposite to everyone so far!!
I'm in Ontario, too....and I have always hated autumn - it's my least favorite season of the entire year!!!
I love summer - love heat - love humidity - so when summer ends, and fall starts to creep in, I start getting depressed (I think I have a certain degree of Seasonal Affective Disorder, so that could be a big part of it...) My skin also gets very, very dry in winter (my fingertips will actually crack open & bleed...) and being cold, for me, is painful - I get sore and stiff and achy in the winter....
Autumn to me only means that summer is over, and we have to get through Autumn, then all the way through Winter, before Spring even arrives again....sigh.....
Yep, hate it all...hate having windows closed up, wearing big bulky sweaters, coats and gloves and boots.....uuggghhhh......

I absolutely love fall and have to agree with the posts here. Though lately, I've noticed I'm feeling very reminiscent and relaxed with everything. Everything is so calm and seems to be winding down for the year- it's putting me in a really cool and collective mood a lot of the time.

The changing of the seasons, akin to the souls (earthly) cycle of life...
A reminder of the changes we must all pass through; youth gives way to maturity, curiosity gives way to knowledge, experience gives way to wisdom,
and ultimately life gives way, not to death, but to new life in a different guise.
But whatever the season, beauty and wonder remain.

We finally got some rain after a very warm dry couple of months. It was badly needed. Fall is finally here.
