Dream Catchers?
Can someone help me with understanding the Dream Catcher? I've always wondered what the significane, if any, is behind the dream catcher. Are they, literally, a catcher of dreams?

I think that they filter out nightmares or bad dreams before those dreams reach you which is why you hang one above your bed where you sleep :)

I'm sure there's more to dreamcatchers though.

I have always felt that it helps with the anxiety felt by individuals when initially exploring lucid dreaming...or even when one is adept at same and exploring new vistas or perspectives...

Yup! Dreamcatchers are supposed to protect you from nightmares. It's like a spider of dreams, catching the bad ones in its web. I have one hanging above my bed.
