Garlic and bad breath.

I love eating garlic raw, but the offensive breath it gives out is my challenge. Does any one has a solution or any way to preventing the 'bad' breath? Please share, I know a lot of people will benefit from it.

You can try nibbling parsley afterwards.
Or something I haven't seen in a long time, but sure you can google it and find an old fashioned product called Sen-Sen Seeds, they come in a little sort of a foil packet, they're tiny little bits of black licorice flavored 'seeds'. I grew up seeing them and the family buying them from time to time (I love licorice). Cool weird fact, my grandmother used to tell me how they would feed them to the horses used to draw the buckboard/wagon when couples would go out on a date! IYKWIM~*

Those who eat garlic regularly may not be aware that the smell also comes out through pores in various parts of the body.

As a runner I often find myself in a cloud of garlic behind, or at the side of, other sweating runners.

Hang out with fellow garlic-lovers! Seriously, nobody's going to think you stink if you smell of garlic. If they do, that's their problem.

"Seriously, nobody's going to think you stink if you smell of garlic." Oh yes they will, just like they think that smokers stink too.....

"If they do, that's their problem." True but some folks prefer not to be stinkers - as suggested in the original enquiry....

If you stink, you stink - doesn't stop the stink because you don't care. Would you be as dismissive if you knew you had foul body odour?

No real difference......

Sorry to the opening poster if it came across as dismissive. That wasn't my intention at all.

If one does not want to smell of garlic, because one is afraid that others might say that they smell of garlic, one would have to stop eating garlic. Alternatively, one could address what it is they are actually afraid of ... and then they can eat garlic whenever they want.
