When you’re starting off, yes. At the beginning, or if you’ve had a negative spell, expecting something really good can seem like a pipe dream, so start off expecting good things which are fairly ‘realistic.’ Then when they start manifesting and you start feeling more confident, you can work your way up the ‘scale of expectation,’ getting bigger each time.
