I received the most evidential evidence from my husband two weeks after his passing but how do I prove the evidence to others it was genuine?

I can't! Because I was the only witness.
I was the only person who heard his voice. I was the only person who knew it was his voice. I had no witnesses.
I can write about this experience,I can inform people about this experience
.
But I cannot prove that this experience was genuine.

It may be just me....but I dont understand how people can believe in certain aspects of mediumship and then be skeptical about others?

Some of the simplest forms of mediumship are just as amazing and easily understood as fact as the more invested and complicated ones are. However, maybe easy for me to accept due to my opinion in the paranormal being energy based.

If a medium is able to convey any type of message based on their personal abilities, what makes it so hard to believe they are able to manifest, levitate, ect. Energy is energy.

I had to come back after reading another posting about "how to believe in channeling". Yes, I get that there are people who are fakes, which is ridiculous in itself. "one bad egg spoils the whole bunch" mentality. It up to us then to test its existence based on personal experience ( calling upon orb energy) to prove to ourselves that this is real.

These where often highly charged conditions and results. It was referred to as a transfiguration circle. Whether this would be defined as physical mediumship or not, I thought it may add to your discussion.

The horn previously mentioned we called a trumpet circle, where the aim was to create the proper conditions for a voice to be produced through the trumpet in the centre of the circle. Though I never experienced that end result.

For what it`s worth, to my understanding ectoplasm can only be a manifestation of ether, since the energy source of mediumship is the abridgement of ethereal conditions.

PB, would you kindly explain your last sentence as I'm not "getting" what you mean by this...and I am interested........

i cried through most of the physical seance that i recently attended
having a wrapped teddy bear unwrapped and thrown in my lap,
a trumpet wizz around and stop inches in front of me (without hitting anyone), and
having a 300 lb chair with medium strapped onto it come up from the cabinet and crash down to the middle of the circle
(of and having a nurse confirm the heart rate of the medium was near 0)
is enough to make anyone cry

then there was the voices and evidence from the voices.....

In full agreement there, what could be simpler that a small message delivered to the recipient giving full proof in a few words.
Why do we need these trumpets and red lights (though I do understand the need for them in certain cases).
Energy based? Yes,I do feel that spirit need strength to be able to manifest in the way they do. They do not have a physical body or shell to show themselves as they used to be.
Ectoplasm is another way to create a physical covering but is that really satisfactory to the poor medium?
Another aspect of energy.
