What are (your) typical Gemini traits?

Gemini is one of my close friends :) when anyone says gemini reminds me of a childhood friend. Very naughty, witty, funny, mischievous, outgoing, dashing and fun to talk with. A funny talker and brought a lot of naughty observations about everything and everyone. The reserved person that I am, my gemini friend helped me let lose and have some fun. Hedonistic, creative and smart.

Geminis always seem very dialectic to me. they have one side to them and then they have another side that usually is in complete opposition to the first side. I have Gemini ascendant and I definitely see that in myself.

I love gemini's when they are in good spirits. LOL. I also find both male and female gemini's to have great sex appeal. They can be so charming with their gift for gab and I have noticed that some of my gemini friends who maybe wouldn't be considered traditionally good looking, still attract many admirers and are very seductive.

On the dark side, gemini's can be very flaky and when they are showing their other "personality," watch out. As an aquarius, I can be flaky too though, so it works fine and I don't take it too personally when my gemini friends "flake out" on plans at the last minute.

I usually like Geminis too, the way they are, witty, funny, dashing is appealing, reminds me of myself. I am Taurus, but my Chinese sign is Horse which is very much like Gemini. And I got Gemini rising.
It can get tricky with Gemini when they have very similar interests to me. I've noticed with Geminis is that they tend to present themselves so strongly that they very easily take other's space away, which doesn't feel nice. Like they inhale all the air around you for themselves, leaving you with nothing. I don't like that feeling.
But I do get along great with them, as long as it's not too often and not too long.
I've never had so much knicker-wetting fun in my life as with my Gemini friend in the past.

I've lived and dated gems and have seen the darker side of them... in fact it is almost all I have seen of them having grown up with two depressed gems and a grandmother gem who liked very tight control in her world.

Both my parents are twins hahahaha sorry that just sounded sooo wrong and incetuous when I said it that I just had to say it. LOL

I have a gemini moon... so am not completely without understanding aspects of them... i find it quite frustrating at times though... as they have the tendancy to really expose their "negative" aspects to themselves which sort of bounce beams off my gemini moon and irritate me at times hahaha.

I'm realising now that I am typing this how tragically wounded by gems I am hahahahaha.

I like them though... the childlike curiousity and adventure seeking aspects.

I just can't tollerate the intense analytical philosophising any more...

Get on board with the feelings train and their playful nature come out... as long as they don't crowd me... much like anyone really... I'm fine
They can be very charming and lively in those states.

It funny because I hardly know any Geminis at all. Aside from the forum, I don't know any in my personal life, I also don't think I have Gemini family members either. Gem and I simply were not meant to be this life time.

I even did the research and it appears that Gemini is Capricorns least compatible in all areas. Gemini is an Air elemental, I naturally don't attract the Air group with the exception of Libras

Same here - don't think I have, or have ever had, a single Gemini within my spere of friends and family. Isn't that odd? My ascendent is Gemini, though - which may explain why I can be quite chatty for a Scorpio.

I at one point had quite a few Gemini friends. I am a Capricorn. There were 3 of my Gemini pals, of all 3 the one and first one I met sticks out. I had a lot of fun with her many times, but she was also considerably younger than me, and the friendship just didn't last with these friends as they were all younger. Essentially, we as individuals were not on the same wave length. It took a while for me as well to realize I simply had to walk away from them. They weren't bad in any way, simply not my style.

These days when meeting others sun sign seems to be the last thing from my mind. It is now more do I like them as a person? Do they like me as a person? Do they have traits I find respectable, and are they a good friend, and a kind person? Can we relate? Being able to relate is important to me.

Lately instead of younger friends, I have a few more friends a couple years older than me (Female), my male friends seem to be quite a bit younger, and have always been it appears. I am quite happy right where I am at this point, with having female friends a couple years or quite a few actually older than me. They are still fun, but much less a drive to go out and get into trouble.

I enjoy making new friends as anyone else, and keeping old ones, or trying. Regardless of sign, experiencing life and all its inconsistencies seems to be something I am working towards as of late.

My Gemini friends had a way about them to crack my pasted smile when I needed a real genuine laugh. I liked that about them.
