Hi everyone, Swifty here.

Hi I'm Swifty,

Nice to meet you all, I love the energy and diversity of this forum, it's a huge credit to you all.

A bit about me; I had an awakening a few years ago, as with most at a low point in my life and was exposed to and traversed many Religious/Faith and Belief concepts, learning and being amazed all the while, just when I needed direction the most.

I accept and respect all faith and belief, but am not a huge fan of ''Religion'', I see The Creator/Source/God/Gods however a person conceives this wonderful being/s in all things. I have been very fortunate on my path to enlightenment to have various friends, teachers and guru's from different belief backgrounds (Christian, Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, a variety of Pagan Paths and Spiritualist) be brought into my life to give me a little knowledge and understanding, the most fundamental being they pretty much all sing from the same hymn sheet, when you scrape the Dogma away, but wear different robes or lack of during some Beltane celebrations.

I feel some humans have historically muddied the waters, when it comes to Religion for their own ends and that is a shame, but is what it is.

Ultimately I believe we are all equal, just on different paths and choice is our greatest gift. I choose to be positive, happy and appreciative of all things. Life's beautiful, is it not?

As a lovely Quaker once told me, as I discussed my journey, I am a ''seeker''. I love discussing, learning and growing each and every day. I have had some amazing experiences and I have a strong Spiritual connection to my guide, who is fun and powerful in turn and looks after me, I want to learn to connect further. I read Tarot and am a great believer in the Law of Attraction, Karma and personal responsibility.

I look forward to making new friends, acquaintances, learning and hopefully being an active part of this lovely community.

Greetings Swifty...

If I may ask is there any kind of special meaning behind your name?

Ditch the Dogma and embrace the Catpa! (okay, that was a bad pun ;P)

The later thing you speak of...are you referring to going "skyclad?" :<

Swift, is special to me yes. An amazing bird to, I'm blessed to be able to watch them as I sit in my garden nesting and their chicks first tentative flights, alongside Blackbirds and Owls. (One of my two spirit animals) One of the most fascinating and incredible birds.

Catpa now embraced ha ha, very good.

I was yes, Beltane and Skyclad go hand in hand alot of the time do they not? A wonderful celebration, behind Samhain the celebration I look forward to the most. Dress up for one and down for the other.
