Yesterday evening I dreamt of defeating giants.

It was a dream inside of a dream. It's like me and these people i didn't know had super powers and we were fighting giants in the air, like super high up. It's as if we were fighting giants that we had to upgrade to fight because more powerful ones would come and after we defeated those first giants, we were fighting more powerful giants than the first and couldn't beat them. I also seen the milky way and was going to fly to it but the darkness had me frightened to do so. I woke up from that dream inside a dream and told my cousin "I don't even know when I'm dreaming anymore" and then not long after that I woke up from that dream. It was super cool, like unbelievably cool, especially having super powers or something that made us fly. I felt myself in the sky looking down and had butterflies because I was so high up.

Maybe you feel inferior (do i spell tih right?) because you upgrades yourself. You have to call the superman in yourself to solve a problem, the giant/titans can symbolise a huge problem that you wish to overcome, but you think you can't do it in reality.

You say you where afraid of the darkness. Darkness can mean ifonorance, death, Not conscious about specific stuff, or maybe fear of the unknown.
The dream in a dream thing, maybe it is an extra layer in yourself that you are hiding and not want to confront, but you see it in you're dreams.
