If you are not exercising you are going to die prematurely.

So I suggest you try to hasten the process by trying to kill yourself with exercise, meaning to exercise to such an extent that you will almost collapse. You are free to hate what you do all along.

Then watch yourself coming alive. And loving it.

I don't think that can be supported by statistics. It would be difficult to discern due to multiple other factors.

I'd suggest that a thorough assessment of a person's health, life circumstances and activity preferences would be required prior to recommending exercise intensity.

I usually say don't do it to a level that you hate it, because you'll be likely to give that up, but do it to a level where it's worth doing in that it works. A balance between enjoyable and worthwhile is most sustainable.

S/He hates it even before starting. LOL

Hi there, earlier I was also running away from exercise, but after that I started using a treadmill and slowly I diverted to exercise.

Commit to just 5 minutes of exercise because that's easy to tolerate no matter how much you don't want to do it. Usually, you will find that it's not so bad and you'll continue for longer than that. If not, then just plan on doing several 5 min sessions per day.

Same here. And these days they have a smartscreen so you can watch tv, movies and music, so light cardio is actually really enjoyable.

Walk on a tredmill or ride an exercise bike while watching tv. It makes the time fly by faster if you're watching something on tv and you'll be done before you know it.

I didn't like to exercise but I started to exercise in a group of 4 and always motivate each other and now we have a group of 25 that we exercise with everyday...
